Call it what you will: someone who regularly blogs in 2016 wants that. And that’s not a bad thing. But what’s bad is when you keep putting energy into something that doesn’t give you something back…nothing in return. Think of how many artists who were discovered long after their death committed suicide. I’m not saying you’re going to become suicidal. But if you approach blogging without a plan on how to achieve some success, it will become a depressing activity and sooner or later you will stop blogging. The good news is that if you’re blogging in 2016, you’ve already taken the first step in that direction: you’ve gone public. The bad news is: that’s not much.
